South Bunbury Church of Christ consists of people from every age and walk of life who come together as a family to love God, learn from Him and to encourage each other as we journey through this life.

Chris Green

Ps Chris was a youth pastor in Mount Hawthorn for 18 years before becoming Senior Pastor at South Bunbury Church Of Christ in March 2021.
He has formal training and  background in counselling, theology and the performing arts. He previously owned his own counselling practice in Scarborough Beach and was a volunteer police chaplain with the West Australian police force and the federal police for 6 years. He was the state director for Baptist youth and children ministries. He has lectured in Youth ministry as well as Grief and loss theory and Mental Health.
Chris loves people, enjoys solving problems and is  passionate about mental and spiritual health. He is a keen fishermen, an average surfer and is married to Dr Stephanie Green and has two primary aged sons.

 

Michael and Lissie Spencer

Michael is the Associate Pastor at South Bunbury church of Christ, his wife Elizabeth heads up the Children’s Ministry.
Together they make a great team, they have 3 boys and a baby girl and have always been passionate about God and helping others become the best that they can be.

 

Michael has been a high school chaplain and youth pastor along with volunteering for a host of organizations such as DrugArm, Youth for Christ, Fusion and prison ministry. He has also worked in mining for 12 years. He loves nature, sport, music and travelling to odd places no one has ever heard of. He also thinks he is a good dancer.

Lissie has led worship and children’s church at a number of churches. She was the chairperson for the Youth Advisory Council in Waroona and ran the drop in centre in town. She has worked for DCP in Broome and spent 5 years working for Calvary Youth Service assisting homeless young people. Lissie loves making people smile, being a Mother, creating things, cooking and doing puzzles.
